Health Screening
Our health screens are like a personal MOT. We complete a series of checks and tests which give us a picture of your health, we discuss how you can proactively manage your health and wellbeing and, if we identify any medical concerns, we discuss these with you and agree any further treatment.
How does it work?
The heath screen involves a 60 minute face-to-face appointment with one of our experienced GPs. During this session, the doctor will review your medical history, lifestyle, medications, assess your family history, conduct a full medical examination and administer blood tests, an ECG and an assessment of your lung function.
Around 7-10 days later, once all the test results are available, we will send you a comprehensive medical report which will include the outcome of the medical assessment, the test results and any recommended actions you should take. Once you have reviewed the report, you have the option of discussing this with the doctor who can answer any questions you may have (free of charge).
Please note: the health screen assesses your overall health status through detailed examination and tests. There will be little time during the appointment to discuss specific or acute symptoms which may need to be addressed in a separate GP consultation appointment.

Please avoid applying any moisturiser, oil or talcum powder etc. to those areas on the day of the appointment. If any of these are particularly hairy, we may need to shave small patches.
